Which loop keeps coming back?

BREAKING THE CYCLE

Printable kits built from your answers, for the loops you keep repeating.

Answer a short quiz and your kit comes back built around you: your people, your hard moments, your schedule. When life changes, retake it and your next kit is made fresh.

WHY IT FEELS DIFFERENT

Most self-help tells you what’s wrong with you. This hands you what to say at 7:40am.

Your moment, by name.

Not “parenting help.” The 7:40am school run, the fight about the dishes, the 1am scroll. You’ll recognize yourself before you’ve read a page.

Built from your answers.

Your kids’ names, your hardest moments, your own words. What you write carries onto the pocket cards, so the script on the fridge is yours.

Made for the moment itself.

Scripts, pause cards, door hangers and trackers: things you reach for while it’s happening, not a book you read once.

The loop is the problem, not you.

No lectures and no shame. Every kit starts from the same idea: your habits made sense once, and they can change.

A ritual, not a worksheet.

Gold cards, deep night colors, and a line that loops until it breaks. It’s made to feel like something you’d keep.

Honest about what it isn’t.

Not therapy and not a quick fix. Every kit tells you plainly when to get more support, and where.

What Readers Are Saying

4.8 out of 5

Different struggles. Small steps forward. A better understanding of ourselves.

  • “I used to feel like my partner and I were having the same argument over and over again. I started to understand why we kept getting stuck in the same patterns. For the first time, I felt like I had something practical to work on instead of just another reason to feel frustrated.”

    — Jessica M. · Austin, TX
  • “I never realized how much of my relationship with money came from what I learned growing up. I always felt guilty spending money, even when I could afford it. This helped me understand where those feelings came from and start making different choices.”

    — Daniel K. · Denver, CO
  • “I was exhausted, but every night I would stay up scrolling on my phone because it felt like the only time I had to myself. This helped me think differently about my evenings and build a routine that actually feels like mine. Small changes, but they matter.”

    — Amanda R. · Portland, OR
  • “Family visits always left me feeling like I was a teenager again, even though I have my own life and family now. This helped me understand those old patterns and think about boundaries without feeling like I was doing something wrong.”

    — Michael T. · Columbus, OH
  • “The hardest part was realizing I was repeating some of the same reactions I grew up with. I didn’t want that for my kids. I found practical ways to respond differently, especially in those stressful moments when patience feels impossible.”

    — Sarah L. · Seattle, WA

You don’t have to keep repeating what you’ve always known. You can learn a different way.

Breaking The Cycle

WHY IT WORKS

Every loop has the same four weak spots.

The yelling, the same fight, the 1am scroll: different moments, same shape. Each one can be broken in four places, and every kit gives you something for each.

  1. Before it starts

    Decide on a calm day.

Loops win when every choice gets made in the heat of the moment. The kits move those choices earlier: what you'll say, what you'll spend, when the night ends, when you'll leave.

In the kits: Morning set-ups, permission rules, the Night Map, the leave-by plan.

  2. As it starts

    Catch the signal.

Every loop sends a warning first: a tight jaw, a sharp tone, “just five more minutes.” Know yours, and you buy a few seconds to choose.

In the kits: Early-warning signals, the guilt check, flooding signs, your old family role.

  3. In the moment

    Have the words ready.

Under stress, you reach for whatever is easiest. The kits make the easy thing a good one, already written in your own words.

In the kits: Scripts for eight hard moments, pause and do-over cards, one-liners, off-ramps.

  4. After

    Repair, then adjust.

A loop that ends in guilt tends to restart. One that ends in repair loses some of its pull. A minute of tracking shows you what's working, so you can adjust.

In the kits: Repair words, the 28-day tracker, the weekly Loop Check, the visit debrief.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you choose a kit.

What exactly do I get?

A printable PDF toolkit of about 40 pages for the loop you choose, with plain explanations of why the loop happens, scripts for the hard moments, pages to fill in, a four-week plan and trackers, and cut-out pocket cards.

Is it a physical book?

No. Each kit is a digital PDF. The photos show them printed at home, which is how most people use them.

How is it personal to me?

Each kit is built to be filled in with your own details: your people, your hardest moments, your own words. Answers you type carry through to the cards and trackers, so the script on your fridge is one you wrote.

Can I fill it in on my phone or computer?

Yes. Open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), Apple Preview, or a browser like Chrome or Edge, and click any box to type. Save as you go so your answers stay with you.

How do I print it?

Each kit is US Letter size. Print at 100% or “actual size,” not “fit to page,” so the cut-out cards come out the right size. Plain paper is fine for the pages; cardstock works best for the cards.

Which kit should I start with?

The one for the loop that's loudest right now. The “Which loop keeps coming back?” choices at the top of this page will point you to it.

What's in The Full Deck?

All five kits, 205 pages in total, for $59 instead of $75 if bought separately.

Can I use it with my partner or family?

Yes. The Loop Deck is made for two people, and Calm Reps and The Visit Playbook include pages for a partner.

Is this therapy?

No. The kits are self-guided tools, not therapy or medical, financial or legal advice. Each one tells you plainly when to get more support and where, including the 988 line in the U.S.
